Skunk - Sk
Elegant Niche Scent
SK skunk and charmed
Combining pure skunk musk with Vietnamese oud, ambergris, labdanum, colostrum, civet, and storax creates an incredibly potent, deep, and likely earthy force or heavily animalic scent. The skunk thiols (sulfur compounds) provide an intense, long-lasting fixative, while the Vietnamese oud adds sweet, woody, and resinous depth, creating a complex, dark scent protile.
* Skunk Musk Impact: Skunk secretion contains thiols, which, when used in minute, trace amounts, adds immense longevity to perfumes. Using it in "pure" form likely makes the scent overpowering, pungent, and, in many contexts, freaking the olfactory mind, requiring significant response to its power.
* Vietnamese Oud Pairing: Vietnamese oud is often prized for being less barnyard and more sweet/ medicinal than other ouds, but it still has a strong, earthy base. Pairing this with the skunk creates a "maximum intensity" animalic scent.
* Aging/Maturation: Aging this mixture allows the pungent, top-note sulfurous components of the skunk to mellow, potentially allowing the scent to become more integrated, rich, and "leathery" over years of maturation.
